Dorothy Mae Kelley Revers, 79, of 100 N. Green Ave., Stevens Point, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Sylvan Crossing Senior Center in Stevens Point.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 18, 2008, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. George Nelson Graham officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Dorothy was born April 20, 1929, in Stevens Point, to Michael and Veretta (Pratt) Patrykus. She married Robert E. Kelley in Chicago, Ill., on July 5, 1948. He died Aug. 11, 1964. She then married Louis Revers in 1965, and the marriage ended in divorce.
She waitressed for many years at the Mead Inn. She was an avid card player, golfer, bowler, bingo player and sunbather.
Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Charles) Arnold of Wisconsin Rapids; four sons, Robert Kelley of Pompany Beach, Fla., Michael S. (Virginia) Kelley of Woodinville, Wash., Bruce Kelley (Barry Callahan) of Milladore, and Timothy (Karin) Revers of West Carrolton, Ohio; one brother, Robert Patrykus of Bancroft; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James (JD) and Roger Patrykus.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m. A parish prayer service will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
