View this Videotribute Darlene C. VanErt, 45 of Pueblo, Colorado died Sunday, October 14, 2007 in Pueblo. Services will be held Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Christian Life Fellowship Church in Port Edwards with Pastor Dean Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Port Edwards Municipal Cemetery. Darlene was born September 5, 1962 in Wisconsin Rapids to George and Barbara (Parlow) VanErt. She was a beautiful person, who had a great love for animals. She even cried while watching Lassie. She is survived by her father, George VanErt (Dorothy) of Port Edwards, two brothers, Jim (Judy) of Woodland, Tennessee and Dale (Brenda) of Wisconsin Rapids; four sisters, Dottie (Nick) Milkey, Nekoosa, Debra Rebelledo, Wisconsin Rapids, Dawn (Steve) Allen, Casper WY and Kim (Bill) Grover, Nekoosa; seven nephews and five nieces. Friends may call Saturday, October 27 at the Christian Life Fellowship Church in Port Edwards from 10:00 a.m. until time of services at 11:00 a.m. Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name.
